I was contacted directly by a recruiter who expressed an interest in interviewing me and asked me to send my CV so they could arrange the interview. I sent my CV and never heard anything back.

I would have loved to have the opportunity to interview for Workday, but I understand that after seeing my CV, the team may not have been interested. However, using these kinds of fishing techniques for CVs and then ghosting the candidate is unprofessional and disrespectful.

A simple final message stating that the team is not interested would be the minimum amount of courtesy I would hope for.

Overall, though, I believe Workday should ensure that their recruiters have a better understanding of what is required from candidates and are respectful to all candidates they deal with.
