Pros

Brilliant colleagues and a great working culture.

Generous benefits and salary.

Cons

The company has its own coding language, tools, and frameworks, which are not standardized with the market. This will slow your career and limit your options when searching for another job.

There were two mass layoffs in the last three years, and it seems they will continue occurring. Employees are afraid of losing their jobs, which generates an environment of individualism.

Since Carl joined as CEO, there has not been a clear direction, and projects change frequently, wasting developers' time and causing frustration.

The company is not investing in Europe anymore, so there is not much possibility for growing internally.

Advice to Management

Employees used to be a valued asset for the company. That is not the case anymore, and the unnecessary layoffs show it.

It takes at least two years for a new developer to become proficient in XO, which will reduce the company's productivity.
