The first interview was conducted on Skype, where I was asked general questions about algorithms and virtual memory. It took about an hour. In the end, the interviewer told me about a project he was working on.

After about two days, I was invited to the office for a more thorough interview.

The interview in the office consisted of five sections:

• C++
• Algorithms
• Design patterns
• A brief talk with HR
• Writing code on a laptop

I was interviewed by different people for each section.

I was asked to write a shared_ptr implementation.

In the algorithms section, I was asked how a hashmap allocates memory.
