The first round of the interview, which was with Interview Vector, was an extremely nice experience. However, the second round of the interview (Machine Coding round) with an internal Zepto employee was really bad. The interviewer was talking in a very rude and derogatory tone throughout the interview, only to point out very small, minor bugs/issues in the implementation. I have given tons of interviews throughout my career, and by far, this has been the worst experience so far. I request HR to relook at your panel of interviewers. Such experiences for candidates really say a lot about the culture of the organization.
First Round: The first round of the interview was with Interview Vector, focusing on JavaScript, React, and React Native fundamentals.
Second Round: This was a machine coding round where I was asked to implement a few screens of a given application with actual backend integration in a real React Native application.
