A recruiter reached out to me.

The initial recruiter had me go through phone screens.

Once I got to the onsite, I was handed off to another recruiter.

I was told I would be able to pick the type of roles I'd be interested in, but that never happened.

They just assumed I would be interested in front-end roles, when most of my experience and preparation had been for full-stack/back-end roles.

The recruiter was very slow to respond.

Finally, after my on-sites, she tried matching me to a back-end role, but it was too late; I had already accepted another offer.

It's a shame. I was really interested in Zillow and would have been happy there.

But the recruiter and the slow/broken process did it for me.
