Software Engineering Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Process

After completing two simple offline tests (string to number conversion and tree structure insertion/deletion), I was arranged for a 45-minute phone interview one week later.

The interviewer was Mike, an engineer from another group. He asked me to explain the projects listed on my resume in more detail, to check my ability to communicate and express myself clearly.

There was also one online coding test using CodingHire. I believe I made mistakes due to misunderstanding some points. By the time I corrected my code, time was almost up.

Mike was very nice and patient throughout the entire process. Before we ended the call, he provided a general description of the job he had heard about.
