I applied through a recruiter. The process took four days.
Not a fair interview for a senior role. The screening round was disappointing. My interviewer was an SDE1/2, and it was clear he wasn’t comfortable evaluating someone with more experience. Even after answering nearly all questions correctly and writing correct code, I was rejected without any meaningful explanation. The process felt biased and poorly structured, with no clarity on what the interviewer was looking for. Senior roles should not be filtered by someone who doesn’t have the experience or confidence to assess them. Overall, the interview felt unfair and poorly designed.
The questions were about hoisting, closures, and the event loop, along with one small coding task.
