Cloud Operations Engineer Interview Experience - SAS Nagar, Punjab

Process

The first round for the position I applied for was a 1-hour technical telephonic interview, followed by a 3-hour on-location technical interview. Following this, I had a 30-minute telephonic interview with HR. This was then followed by another HR round of about 1 hour. I was not contacted thereafter, even though my technical interview went well and the HR rounds went fairly well. The worst part was that I was not provided with any feedback. All of these interviews took place on different days but within the same week.

I believe 30 minutes should have been sufficient to determine whether to hire a person. I invested over 8 hours in the interviews and company research. I would at least expect a clear "no" early in the process if a decision has been made. If cultural fit HR rounds are your final decision factors, they should be conducted earlier in the process, or an automated test should be employed to assess cultural alignment with your company.
