Work-life balance for devs with decent pay
Mostly, the work-life balance is good in India.
Pay is good, not the best though.
Yearly refresher stocks.
- You might be expected to attend team meetings at 10 or even 11 PM to collaborate with members in other timezones.
- It's rare, but you might not get refreshers and hike based on performance.
- Expectations from developers have been increasing a lot lately due to organizational changes.
- Cannot switch teams internally.
People get paid to work during the day. Don't expect availability after working hours, or at least provide an incentive for that.
