Got an interview by referral. HR was quick to schedule the call, and the panelists were knowledgeable.
Employee locking with a 90-day notice period. Hired for a React JS position, all rounds were on React JS hands-on, but the product is built on Backbone.js and other legacy tech. During the Manager round, they specifically mentioned they were using React and the legacy app required only support, but in reality, the majority of the work is in the legacy app. The Manager round was canceled thrice without any notification. I would join the call, wait for 15 minutes, and leave the call. No concept of a buddy or mentor after hiring. You are expected to follow up with everyone on the team to understand the next steps, with no protocol defined. After a month, you will be questioned on your progress and what you did for that month. HR and the Manager are unresponsive, with no response after multiple Slack messages and meeting invites – worst employee relations. Even after resignation, no HR called to inquire about the reason for resignation. I just received an email asking me to submit the assets, and only then will I get my FnF settlement.
HR: Please do mention the expectation clearly in the job description. Hiring for React JS and making them work in a legacy codebase, and locking them with a 90-day notice period does not project the company in a good way.
HR: Worst employee relationship, working in a remote setting. HR are expected to help new joiners during the initial transition.
Manager: Please be responsive to the queries from team members, join interview calls on time, and respect others' time.
Manager: Please set the expectation right. Lying about the tech stack during an interview is a bad thing.
There were three technical rounds which included mostly DSA and OOPs in Java, and theoretical questions on operating systems, databases, and computer networks. They even asked about my projects and their tech stack.
There were 5 rounds, including technical round 2, managerial 1, directorial 1, and finally HR. All the rounds went to HR approximately. All were in-depth, technically covering all items included in the resumes and JD.
Consists of 2 phases: * Technical * Interviews In the first round, DSA was asked. The second round was theory-related, based on OS and CN concepts. It was a medium-level interview. In OS, deadlocks and related topics were asked. In CN, OSI lay
