As a DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing runtime infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency. You'll be instrumental in implementing container orchestration, maintaining multi-account AWS setups, and automating processes to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Design, deploy, and operate runtime infrastructure
- Plan and create vision for container orchestration and service mesh architecture
- Design, deploy and maintain multi-account AWS Organization architecture
- Maintain optimal observability on system and application availability and performance
- Attain optimal levels of security and scalability
- Automate all routine work, eliminating human intervention from repetitive mechanical activity
- Perform regular maintenance and house-keeping
- Perform regular system monitoring
- Rollout software patches and upgrades
- Investigate issues to their root cause and resolution
- Create and maintain relevant documentation for peers and users
Requirements For DevOps Engineer
- A minimum of 3 years as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.) and managing AWS Organization and accounts
- Experience with on-premises infrastructure and its integration with cloud services
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS)
- Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications and service mesh technologies, specifically Istio
- GitOps experience including knowledge of tools like Argo CD, Crossplane, GitLab, etc
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Packer
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Alertmanager, Thanos, Loki, and Grafana
- Strong experience with programming/scripting languages (Go, Python, Bash)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards
