Description For Growth Engineer

Adaptive is an innovative AI-native ERP company revolutionizing the real estate and construction industry. With over 600 customers and $26M in funding from prestigious investors like Emergence and a16z, we're on a mission to transform how the built environment operates.

As our Growth Engineer, you'll be at the intersection of technology and business growth, working directly with our CEO, Head of Growth, and VP of Sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and scale our go-to-market engine while having significant impact on our revenue growth. You'll be responsible for creating sophisticated systems that power our sales pipeline, automate customer onboarding, and optimize our entire revenue operation.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen, capable of both shipping growth experiments and handling critical operational infrastructure. You'll be working in our Union Square office Monday through Thursday, collaborating with a world-class team of professionals from finance, technology, and construction backgrounds.

Responsibilities For Growth Engineer

  • Build and maintain systems for opportunity management, inbound funnel, sales handoffs, forecasting, and post-sale workflows
  • Build self-serve flows for customer onboarding
  • Create lead magnets and campaigns for demand generation
  • Design AI-native automations for sales processes
  • Create and maintain revenue management systems
  • Handle sales tax setup and billing system rollouts
  • Ship growth experiments and handle compliance

Requirements For Growth Engineer

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Engineering, or demonstrated expertise in building AI tools
  • Experience in operations, growth, engineering, or as a former founder
  • Ability to identify high-leverage business areas and create strategic solutions
  • Strong data-driven and technical skills
  • Comfortable working across growth engineering, revenue operations, and business operations
