Staff Frontend Engineer

Frame.io, part of Adobe, is revolutionizing video collaboration with a platform serving over 4 million creative professionals worldwide. We're seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build our flagship web app.

The role focuses on crafting exceptional user experiences through sophisticated frontend development. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including React (with Server Components), Next.js, Apollo Client, TypeScript, GraphQL Codegen, Jest, Storybook, Styled Components, and Framer Motion.

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll:

• Lead development of fluid interfaces that perform at scale
• Define and refine architecture and development practices
• Mentor growing engineers on sustainable engineering practices
• Collaborate with design and product teams on long-term technical vision
• Ensure excellence in performance, scalability, and security

The ideal candidate brings:

• Extensive experience building beautiful web experiences
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React
• Strong background in complex UI development with CSS and animations
• Experience with state management (Apollo Client, Redux, etc.)
• Proven track record mentoring senior engineers
• Excellence in technical communication and architecture design
