AeroVect, a Series A company backed by top-tier venture capital investors in aviation and autonomous driving, is seeking a Systems Test Engineer to join their innovative team. The company is transforming ground handling operations through autonomy, working with some of the world's largest airlines and ground handling providers.
The role focuses on leading the planning, execution, and analysis of structured testing activities for self-driving vehicles and Autonomous Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) Service. This position is crucial for ensuring safety, reliability, and performance through rigorous Verification & Validation (V&V) in both simulation and real-world operational environments.
As a Systems Test Engineer, you'll work directly with the Head of Systems to drive V&V of safety-critical systems, develop test plans, and evaluate AV system performance. The role involves hands-on work with autonomous vehicles, including operating and monitoring AVs in various driving modes, collecting and analyzing sensor data, and working cross-functionally with multiple teams.
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in vehicle testing, embedded systems, or robotics, with a strong background in computer science or engineering. They should be familiar with automotive/AV test procedures, structured test processes, and have strong debugging and communication skills.
