Senior Fullstack Engineer, i18n Infrastructure

Airbnb, a leading global hospitality platform founded in 2007, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Internationalization Infrastructure team. This role is part of the Core Services organization within Infrastructure and plays a crucial role in maintaining Airbnb's position as a top-ranked company for globalization (#2 among 150 global companies in 2024).

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on systems that serve millions of users worldwide, enabling them to interact with Airbnb in their preferred languages. As a member of the i18n Infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable systems that handle real-time translation requests and manage translated content efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring 5-9+ years of industry experience with strong programming skills in both backend (Java, Kotlin) and frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) technologies. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, partnering with various teams including Globalization, Data Science, and product teams to drive significant business impact through improved internationalization infrastructure.

This remote-eligible position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $191,000 - $225,000 USD, plus potential bonus, equity, and Employee Travel Credits.
