Responsibilities For Integration Engineer - Public Health Systems

  • Design and Development of Interfaces: Analyze requirements, design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions
  • System Integration: Integrate health information systems to facilitate interoperable data exchange
  • Interface Monitoring and Support: Monitor production interfaces, investigate failures, troubleshoot issues
  • Documentation: Prepare technical and user documentation
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans for integration solutions

Requirements For Integration Engineer - Public Health Systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare integration engineer role
  • Experience with Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, or similar platforms
  • Proven ability with HL7 v2.x, HL7 FHIR, X12, CCD, CDA
  • Experience with database technologies and data mapping tools
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and secure data transport methods
  • Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
