Description For BIM Client Information Manager, AWS Design Services

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of keeping the cloud running, managing the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The BIM Client Information Manager role is a crucial position within the Data Centre Design Services team, overseeing BIM deliveries across AWS Americas North and South regions. This role combines technical expertise in BIM engineering with leadership responsibilities, working with a multi-disciplinary team of specialists.

The position offers an opportunity to work on industry-leading data centers known for innovation in energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external partners, ensuring BIM standards are maintained throughout project lifecycles. The role involves reviewing Revit and Navisworks models, meeting with design teams, and driving innovation in BIM processes.

Responsibilities For BIM Client Information Manager, AWS Design Services

  • BIM Oversight of Data Center lifecycle including design, construction, and maintenance
  • Establish and maintain common data environment and information exchanges
  • Ensure BIM files meet AWS standards and Exchange Information Requirements
  • Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
  • Establish and maintain BIM standards, processes, and workflows
  • Train internal teams in BIM software, procedures, and best practices

Requirements For BIM Client Information Manager, AWS Design Services

  • 2+ years of design/construction experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Revit
  • 1+ years of experience working with Navisworks
  • Experience in establishment and management of BIM & VDC models
  • Strong organization skills in archival & maintenance operations
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
