Business Intelligence Engineer Intern, Analytics Operations and Programs

The Analytics Operations and Programs (AOP) team at Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer Intern to join their dynamic team. This role is part of a crucial initiative focused on creating core analytics, insight generation, and science capabilities for ROW Ops. The team develops scalable analytics applications, AI/ML products, and research models to optimize operation processes.

As a BIE Intern, you'll work alongside Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Research Scientists, and other Business Intelligence Engineers, using quantitative approaches to ensure high-quality data science products. You'll be involved in developing and maintaining BI products for science projects while providing analytical support.

The position offers hands-on experience with Amazon's internal business analytical ecosystems and exposure to state-of-the-art statistical and ML techniques. You'll analyze data using Python for Supply Chain solutions, develop automated metrics reports, and work on identifying business opportunities through data-driven insights.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while working with some of the most sophisticated analytical tools and systems. The role requires strong technical skills in SQL and Python, combined with an understanding of statistics and machine learning theory.

The position is based in Beijing, requiring 4+ days per week in the office for a minimum of 6 months.
