Description For Cloud Support Eng I (CDA), AWS Support Engineering

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer I to join their AWS Support Engineering team. As a member of the AWS Support team, you will be at the forefront of transformational cloud technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers taking advantage of AWS services. You will act as a 'Cloud Ambassador' across all cloud products, helping customers understand application architectures, integration approaches, and best practices for applications, servers, and networks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Learning and using groundbreaking technologies
  • Applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions
  • Interacting with leading engineers worldwide
  • Partnering with AWS teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues
  • Providing feedback to internal teams on service improvements
  • Driving customer communication during critical events
  • Working on projects to improve support processes and customer experience
  • Creating technical content for the developer community
  • Solving complex customer problems across multiple AWS services

The role offers opportunities for career development, training programs, and potential travel for presenting at AWS events. There is no after-hours on-call or mandated overtime due to the follow-the-sun model across global support sites.
