Description For Controls Manager, Mississippi

The Data Center Capacity Delivery team is seeking exceptional individuals to join as a Controls Manager, responsible for building management systems and electrical power monitoring system (BMS/EPMS) deployment and service within Amazon data centers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing onsite teams in Canton, Mississippi
  • Traveling up to 15% domestically
  • Developing, implementing, and tracking team goals
  • Interviewing and developing launch plans for new hires
  • Installing, programming, and troubleshooting BMS/EPMS systems
  • Understanding electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, and control circuits
  • Managing project engineering and determining scope of work
  • Developing drawings for control panels and power distribution
  • Performing inspections, testing, and commissioning of facility systems

The ideal candidate will have:

  • B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering degrees with 10+ years of Controls experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 6+ years of experience leading teams of controls professionals
  • 6+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments
  • 6+ years of project or vendor management experience
