Data Center Security Manager, ZAZ Security team

Amazon Web Services offers a fast-paced, fun, and exciting work environment. We are looking for a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) to manage the day-to-day physical security operations of our sites in the Zaragoza ("ZAZ Cluster"). The DSM will maintain the physical security posture of assigned sites with the support of the security guard force vendor, under the direct leadership of the Cluster Security Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding swiftly to security situations
• Supporting on-site contractor security team
• Reporting unusual events to the Cluster Manager
• Overseeing access control systems and badge deliveries
• Investigating security events via alarm and CCTV monitoring
• Cooperating with the Security Operation Center (SOC)
• Creating and improving procedures using data and metrics
• Developing knowledge of operational processes to identify vulnerabilities
• Performing security inspections, audits, and investigations
• Being on-call for out-of-hours emergency activities

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role in public or private security industry
• 5+ years of experience using data and metrics to improve processes
• Professional Identity Card (TIP) as security director qualification or ability to obtain one
• Habilitacion Personal de Seguridad (HPS) or ability to obtain one

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years managing contract guard force
• Training in data analysis and visualization systems (e.g., Microsoft PowerBI)
• Experience working in a mission-critical environment, such as a Data Center
