AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. This team maintains and supports all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure continuous customer access. As a Data Centre Linux & HW Engineer at Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL), you'll be part of the team that keeps the cloud running.
The role involves being the primary point of contact for both internal customers (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Database Engineers, Technical Operations) and external customers (Hardware Vendors, Contractors, Service Providers). Key responsibilities include troubleshooting Linux server issues, XEN service virtualization, handling technical issues across Systems, Networking, and Power/Mechanical systems, and participating in Data Center power & cooling events. You'll be responsible for installing and configuring racks of hosts, managing trouble tickets, and ensuring physical infrastructure maintenance.
