Data Engineer II, AFX - AWS Investments

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is seeking an innovative and passionate data engineer to architect and build new capabilities for the AWS Investments Platform. The role involves working on complex data pipelines, assembling large datasets, and generating business insights. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing data schemas and operating internal data warehouses and SQL/NoSQL database systems
• Implementing, automating, and optimizing data pipelines
• Developing metrics, reports, analytics, and dashboards to drive business decisions
• Managing Redshift/Spectrum/EMR infrastructure
• Working with AWS technologies like S3, Lambda, and Glue
• Developing automation tools for data collection and analytics
• Interfacing with other teams to extract, transform, and load data using AWS big data technologies
