Data Engineer II, AWS Sustainability Technology

AWS Infrastructure Services is at the heart of Amazon's cloud operations, responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. This team ensures the seamless operation of AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that customers rely on for continuous innovation.

The role focuses on sustainability technology within AWS, supporting Amazon's commitment to The Climate Pledge and achieving net-zero carbon by 2040. As a Data Engineer II, you'll be part of the team building tools and innovative technology to manage AWS's growing portfolio of renewable energy investments, including solar, on-shore and off-shore wind farms.

Key responsibilities include developing large data models for clients in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water sectors, enabling them to assess their portfolios effectively. You'll work closely with data scientists to create predictive models that enhance decision-making processes.
