DevOps Engineer, Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Support (AFTS)

AFT Platform Engineering & Services is seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance development and operational excellence of warehouse technology services. This role involves:

• Contributing to services that process millions of customer shipments worldwide
• Working on tools that enforce engineering best practices for service availability and scalability
• Designing system architecture and implementing specific components
• Diagnosing and fixing production software issues
• Developing monitoring solutions
• Performing software maintenance and configuration
• Implementing fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, JAVA)
• Debugging and executing persistence solutions queries
• Managing AFT org level operational cadence and programs
• Collaborating with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects
• Automating support processes and documenting systems

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and work well under pressure. You'll be part of Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) which powers Amazon's global fulfillment network, inventing and delivering software, hardware, and data science solutions that orchestrate processes, robots, machines, and people.
