EAM Regional Operations Engineer, DC Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

As an EAM Regional Operations Engineer in DC Engineering, you will:

• Serve as an EAM application expert within Amazon data center region
• Design, develop and deploy innovative solutions in EAM to address operational challenges
• Own the process of deploying the EAM platform in your data center region
• Support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training
• Help drive global processes and document development as part of the global EAM team
• Act as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced
• Develop system enhancements using SQL and Javascript to meet Regional or Global business requirements
• Travel 25% of the time when launching new locations

Key responsibilities include:

• Interacting with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers
• Prioritizing activities to support data center safety, remediation projects, capacity, and availability
• Working on projects both locally and globally
