Front End Engineer, Prime Video, Virtual Opportunities (L5)

Prime Video is disrupting traditional media with an ever-increasing selection of movies, TV shows, Emmy Award winning original content, add-on subscriptions including HBO and Showtime, and live events like Thursday Night Football. We are building next-gen linear catalog systems to provide best-in-class Linear TV experience to Prime Video customers.

We are looking for strong developers passionate about delivering excellent digital media experiences. You'll work with Principal and senior engineers to build high-speed data delivery systems and create simple solutions for complex media ingestion and publishing processes.

Successful candidates will have:

• Strong background in C++/Java, Python and/or SQL
• Experience with ElasticSearch, AWS services including Dynamo, SQS, Athena
• Ability to multi-task, adapt to new environments and changing requirements
• Skills in creating reliable/maintainable code, finding creative and scalable solutions
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
