Responsibilities For Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer, AWS Ground Station

  • Work with vendors and AWS engineering teams to discover and implement the latest technologies
  • Deeply own the deployment, operation, and maintenance of antenna systems around the world
  • Identify gaps in functionality or capabilities and create solutions
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Educate peers through mentorship and coaching

Requirements For Interdisciplinary Systems Engineer, AWS Ground Station

Linux
  • 5+ years experience supporting highly available environments, both locally and in the cloud
  • Experience across all aspects of satellite ground processing, networks and radio frequency spectrum
  • Experience deploying and operating a world-wide network of fully-articulating ground station antennas operating in S and X Bands
  • Must be a US citizen
