Description For Process Engineer II, Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Ops Product Team

Are you passionate about automation, designing processes, simplifying work and launching innovative products using cutting edge technology? We are looking for Process engineers who have the ability to deep dive into processes and invent and simplify with a high degree of ownership.

As a Process Engineer in the Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Organization, you will be responsible for analyzing operational processes to design, develop, test, launch and continuously improve high quality self-service software products called Paramount workflows. You will work cross-functionally with operations, product managers, software engineers, business analysts, data scientists and program managers on medium to large scale projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging with stakeholders to document requirements, create functional specifications and generate process maps.
  • Designing, developing, testing, launching and improving self-service software products such as Paramount workflows.
  • Operating as a Subject Matter Expert on Amazon's internal authoring application and workflow engine.
  • Engaging with software development teams to understand and guide evolving program technology.
  • Understanding and leveraging Amazon technology and services.
  • Deep diving into technical product or operational issues to propose and implement simple and effective solutions.

The TSE team strives to guarantee customers a trustworthy shopping and ordering experience by eliminating catalog defects, ensuring listing compliance, helping customers find reliable selling partners, ensuring authentic product delivery, and protecting customers with the A-to-z Guarantee.

This role requires a passion for technology, innovation, and strong analytical and communication skills. You will work with cutting-edge technology and see your insights drive the creation of real tools and features for our operations teams, impacting both customer and seller experiences in the Amazon Marketplace.
