As a Quality Assurance Engineer I for Music Client QA, you will:
- Drive Feature release End-to-End
- Create automation scripts for new features and ensure stability
- Write test cases for new features, modify and maintain existing test cases
- Understand and apply QA procedures, guidelines, and policies for newly launched features
- Use software tools for QA, fix-up, and data capture daily
- Be proactive in identifying issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stakeholders, escalate issues, and provide status reports
- Be part of a highly charged work environment
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing high-quality, high-value, and maintainable test cases, Test Plans, and Strategies
- Reproducing product defects and script failures to assist developers or other testers
- Creating automation scripts for low complexity test cases
- Acquiring knowledge of features and detailed functional requirements
- Working with Product Management, User Interaction, and Customer Support to understand customer usage models
- Developing test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests
