Description For Robotics Change Management Engineer, Integration & Retrofit Services

In this role, you will work on system configurations, service integrations and testing of software deployed at Amazon Installations around the world which utilize our mobile robotics platform. You will drive Robotics fleet retrofit projects to improve the performance, reliability and safety of globally deployed robotic and automation systems. Your role will have a primary focus on new site launches.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing multiple robotics implementation, upgrade and enhancement projects
  • Collecting Voice of the Customer (VOC) data and sharing success stories
  • Creating and maintaining problem resolution procedures
  • Leveraging existing guides and tools to deploy Software at Amazon Robotics sites globally
  • Monitoring queues and responding to issues within defined SLAs
  • Developing processes to implement product upgrades on fielded Amazon Robotics products

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, or related fields, along with 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience. You should have working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, AWS services, and Linux. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in project management.

Requirements For Robotics Change Management Engineer, Integration & Retrofit Services

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent
  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Working knowledge of Process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, Kai-zen and Lean manufacturing methodology)
  • Experience working with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS
  • Knowledge and/or working experience with Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
  • Proven ability to root cause issues, drive improvements, and apply preventive measures
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical discussions with various groups
  • Proven ability to project manage complex technical projects
