Description For SDE I - ADSP Global

Amazon Advertising seeks the world's brightest and best technical engineers to drive next-generation solutions that enable advertisers to reach customers across our owned and operated sites, on other high-quality publisher sites across the web, and on millions of desktops, mobile, and connected TV devices. Our mission is to offer the world's most customer-centric advertising. Amazon DSP (ADSP) is Amazon's programmatic advertising product for campaign spanning Display, Video, and Audio across Amazon properties (e.g., Amazon.com, IMDb TV, Twitch, Fire TV, and Amazon Music) and tens of thousands of third-party (3P) websites and apps.

We seek candidates who want to join a team focused on building large-scale systems that integrate across multiple sources to provide unique advertising products. These products give advertisers the controls and data necessary to improve the relevancy and performance of their ads. Amazon's DSP (ADSP) Display engineering team seeks a software engineer to join the ADSP display engineering team for programmatic and guaranteed ad products.

This role will be responsible for delivering solutions for significant portion of our advertising business focused on the needs of the most sophisticated advertisers representing some of the best-loved brands in the world. The right candidate will develop innovative products and disruptive technical solutions. The individual in this role will have responsibility for software development from inception through delivery. You will be working across a diverse set of technology and increase your influence by earning the trust of your peers by delivering exceptional results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $99,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
