SDE II (Machine Learning), AGI Foundations

The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) post training team at Amazon is seeking a talented ML Engineer to spearhead cutting-edge technology development. This role combines software engineering excellence with machine learning expertise, focusing on advancing Large Language Model (LLM) training technologies.

The position offers an opportunity to work with Amazon's vast data resources and computing infrastructure to accelerate the development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative AI solutions. You'll collaborate with Applied Scientists on LLM fine-tuning experiments and build automated training workflows.

As an ML engineer within the AGI team, you'll be:

• Leading the development of novel algorithms for LLM training
• Working with heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing
• Building scalable AI products requiring exceptional technical expertise
• Collaborating in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Investigating design approaches and prototyping new technology
• Evaluating technical feasibility of solutions
• Working closely with Applied Scientists to optimize and scale machine learning models
