Security Engineer II, AWS Infrastructure Services Incident Response

As a Security Engineer II in the AWS Infrastructure Services Incident Response team, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the investigation, analysis, escalation, and remediation of network security incidents
• Maintaining the network security incident response plan
• Partnering with other AWS teams
• Driving after-action policy and governance changes
• Collaborating with Threat Intelligence and Detection Engineering Security Engineers to improve detection and response capabilities

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll work on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, helping to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.

The role requires deep expertise in security incident response or security operations. You'll need knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP, as well as experience leading incident response activities in a large, globally distributed organization.

Base pay for this position ranges from $136,000/year to $212,800/year, depending on the geographic market. Amazon offers a comprehensive benefits package and values work-life harmony.
