Security Engineer, WSM Crew

The AWS Security Operations team manages the security and availability of AWS Cloud services, operating on the 'AWS' side of the Shared Responsibility Model to ensure "Security of the Cloud" and protect customers. As part of the WSM Crew team under SecOps Risk, this role involves:

• Working with Security Operations and TPMs to execute and enhance the Weekly Security Meeting (WSM) program
• Prioritizing top security issues and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including Service teams, Security teams, Legal, Support teams, and Executive leadership
• Presenting security narratives to AWS Executive Leadership
• Driving Incident Response outcomes and determining impact scope
• Operating as an escalation and technical expert for engineers
• Conducting deep dives for risk assessment
• Creating automation solutions for improved efficiency
• Mentoring others and raising technical standards
