Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Inbound Transportation (AIT)

Amazon Inbound Transportation Business Intelligence is seeking a passionate candidate to leverage data for actionable insights that impact business decisions and improve customer experience. The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (Sr. BIE) will partner with various Amazon Inbound Transportation (AIT) teams to define, develop, and manage the cross-functional strategy for U.S. domestic inbound transportation. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and leading design and execution of reporting solutions for AIT
• Working with product managers, data engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to define reporting needs
• Building self-service tools and dashboards for aggregated metrics and granular data analysis
• Performing deep-dives and data analysis, providing recommendations on new metrics or business decisions
• Mentoring teammates and leading cross-org discussions

The role offers the opportunity to influence and drive a growing business area, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across all regions and transportation modes of U.S. domestic inbound. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and programming skills, experience with AWS technologies, and expertise in data science and machine learning.
