Software Development Engineer, Ads Payments

The Ads Payments team is seeking a talented Software Development Engineer to build highly-distributed, large-scale, real-time serverless systems for Amazon Advertising. This is a greenfield opportunity where you'll conceptualize and develop applications from the ground up, focusing on real-time, distributed, and modern solutions.

As part of the worldwide Advertising Customer Experience team, you'll be instrumental in building innovative payment systems that process billions of dollars in advertising payments globally. You'll work with cutting-edge AWS technologies, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, Kafka, DynamoDB, and more, to create robust payment collection and risk evaluation systems.

The role offers an excellent balance of technical challenges and business impact. You'll be working on concurrent workflows across distributed systems, tackling big data problems, and optimizing performance at scale. The systems you build will not only serve Amazon Advertising but will also power payments for other emerging Amazon businesses.
