Software Development Engineer, AFX - App Infrastructure and Personalization

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the AFX (AWS Field Experiences) Infrastructure and Personalization team. This role involves designing and delivering internet-scalable solutions for the AWS selling team, creating application stacks across various domains, and incorporating Generative AI technologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering flexible, integrated solutions for the selling team
• Creating and managing application stacks for chatbots, Slack apps, telemetry, analytics, planning, and performance management
• Incorporating Generative AI technologies like Amazon Q, Amazon Bedrock, and advanced LLMs

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience
• Experience with at least one programming language
• Knowledge of full software development life cycle
• Passion for customer experience and usability
• Experience mentoring/training on complex technical issues
