Key responsibilities:
- Utilize deep expertise in business analysis, metrics, reporting, and analytic tools/languages like SQL, Excel, and others
- Translate data into meaningful insights through collaboration with scientists, software engineers, data engineers and business analysts
- Have end-to-end ownership of operational, financial, and technical aspects of the insights you are building for the business
- Conduct deep dive analyses of business problems and formulate conclusions and recommendations for senior leadership
- Produce written recommendations and insights to help shape effective metric development and reporting
- Simplify and automate reporting, audits and other data-driven activities
- Partner with Engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure, data availability, and broad access to customer insights
- Develop and drive best practices in reporting and analysis

Responsibilities For Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer
- Utilize deep expertise in business analysis, metrics, reporting, and analytic tools/languages

Requirements For Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer
- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
