Sr. Engineer, JP Robotics, JCFS, JP FC - RME

The Control Software Technology Development Engineer in the Robotics Team of the Operations Technology Development Headquarters works to achieve Amazon's Mission of being "Earth's most extensive selection" and "Earth's most customer-centric company." This role focuses on improving software and introducing new technologies to enhance productivity at Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs) in Japan.

The technology development team collaborates with related departments, including US headquarters, to research and develop device automation and robotics control logic technology, advancing Amazon's process technology. The role specifically focuses on developing and improving software using Generative AI for devices and robotics used in FCs to achieve greater efficiency and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of control software technology for FC devices and robotics
• Create future FC automation and robotics concepts using Generative AI
• Engage with external partners to implement Amazon's devices and robotics software
