Sr. PE, JP PSE, JCFS, (Process System Engineering)

Amazon Japan is seeking a Senior Process System Engineer to join their Japan Customer Fulfillment Solutions (JCFS) team. This role is central to implementing and optimizing Amazon Robotics and other internally developed systems for next-generation operations in Japan.

The position sits within the Process System Engineering (PSE) team, which is responsible for constructing, renovating, and troubleshooting operations across various facilities including Fulfillment Centers (FC). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional engineering skills, demonstrate leadership in process design and project implementation, and be a self-starter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project teams in implementing, configuring, and testing solutions developed by global teams
• Collaborate with global teams and Japanese operations members to improve operational performance
• Manage team resources, cross-departmental coordination, and project progress
• Verify project feasibility from revenue and process implementation perspectives
• Document results and report to Amazon Japan Leadership
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, and productivity

The role requires strong communication skills in both Japanese and English, with approximately 40% of work conducted in English. The position involves working at both headquarters and FCs, with potential for extended periods at FC locations depending on project requirements. The role offers flexibility through a flex-time system for short-term adjustments when necessary.
