Transportation Financial Systems (TFS) at Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer III to join their team that manages technology components for transportation business financial activities. This role is part of a system that handles financial document creation & management, expense auditing, accounting, payments, and cost allocation functions across all transportation programs and retail expansion globally.

The position combines technical support and software engineering responsibilities, requiring both operational excellence and development capabilities. You'll work with various technologies including Perl, Ruby, Java, and SQL, while supporting critical financial systems that process every dollar in transportation financial accounts.

As a Support Engineer III, you'll be responsible for maintaining system reliability, implementing fixes, developing monitoring solutions, and working closely with development teams. The role requires someone who can think proactively, identify potential issues before they become problems, and implement robust solutions.
