Responsibilities For System Development Engineer II, Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE)
- Develop custom automation tools to manage and optimize power, HVAC, and structured cabling infrastructure
- Build scalable APIs, microservices, and integration solutions
- Create automated deployment frameworks for infrastructure components
- Design and implement real-time dashboards for infrastructure monitoring
- Develop data analytics pipelines for infrastructure telemetry
- Automate incident detection, alerting, and response workflows
- Support Sev1/Sev2 incident response
- Develop and maintain OpenDCIM-based systems
Requirements For System Development Engineer II, Data Center Infrastructure Engineering (DCIE)
- 3+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or infrastructure automation
- Experience programming with Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong background in infrastructure automation
- Familiarity with database systems
- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms
