Description For Software Engineer, Mobile

Ambrook is a Series A startup revolutionizing sustainability for family-run businesses, starting with the agricultural sector. They're building an affordable accounting, banking, and payments platform to help operators understand their finances and access capital for sustainable transitions. As one of their first mobile engineers, you'll play a crucial role in shaping technical decisions and product direction.

The role involves developing mobile applications using React Native, working with a modern tech stack including Next.js/React with TypeScript, hosted on Google Cloud. You'll be responsible for delivering performant product experiences, improving architecture, and championing engineering excellence.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $140K-$195K plus equity, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and various stipends. The work environment is hybrid, with offices in New York, Denver, and San Francisco, while also supporting remote work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mobile engineer who is passionate about sustainability and wants to make a significant impact in the agricultural sector. The role combines technical challenges with meaningful work, helping make agriculture more sustainable and profitable. You'll work with a mission-driven team backed by top investors like Thrive Capital, Dylan Field, Homebrew, and Designer Fund.

The ideal candidate should have experience shipping web applications, be comfortable with ambiguous problems, and ideally have some background in TypeScript, React Native, or agriculture.
