Responsibilities For Software Engineer Research Data and Analytics

  • Design, develop, and implement applications and modules, including custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements
  • Analyze and translate functional and technical requirements into software architecture
  • Develop and implement unit tests, integration tests, and other testing strategies
  • Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues
  • Work with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software
  • Maintain documentation of software designs, code, and development processes
  • Integrate with other systems and platforms
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for applications
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development using cloud technology

Requirements For Software Engineer Research Data and Analytics

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computational Chemistry, or related field (0-3 years experience)
  • Proficient in General Purpose High Level Language (NodeJS/Koa, Python, Java, C#.NET)
  • Proficient in Javascript UI Framework (React or ExtJs)
  • Proficient in SQL (Oracle, PostGres or Databricks)
  • Experience in automated testing tools and frameworks
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization
