Description For Mission Simulation Engineer

Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Simulation Engineer to join their Maneuver Dominance and Operational Analysis teams. This role combines software engineering with military simulation expertise, focusing on developing cutting-edge complex systems for dynamic environments with manned and unmanned autonomous vehicles. The position requires expertise in Python programming and military mission modeling & simulation (M&S).

The role involves creating sophisticated simulation models within Anduril's proprietary framework, developing behavior models for various entities, and incorporating mission autonomy algorithms. You'll work on building and refining Augmented Reality Visualizations and Wargaming capabilities, becoming a subject matter expert in modeling and simulation.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related field, strong Python programming skills, and the ability to maintain security clearances. Military mission M&S experience, particularly in ISR, SEAD/DEAD, Electronic Attack, or various types of Fires missions, is highly valued.

Anduril offers a competitive compensation package with a salary range of $124,000-$186,000 USD, plus equity grants. Requirements For Mission Simulation Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering, math, or related
  • Proficiency coding in Python
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
