Responsibilities For Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Audio

  • Design precision assembly and measurement processes for Apple products
  • Develop new and improved processes through engineering application
  • Provide direction to third party machine/automation suppliers
  • Organize cross-functional reviews of machine requirements
  • Create RFQ/RFPs for automated equipment
  • Travel to machine suppliers and contract manufacturers for equipment support
  • Drive machine qualification and failure analysis
  • Conduct equipment experiments and data analysis
  • Provide manufacturing involvement for product design
  • Support production engineering for testing methods and failure analysis

Requirements For Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Audio

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field
  • 5+ years of strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection and automation equipment
  • Ability to travel 20-25%
  • Knowledge of machine qualification and design of experiments
  • Understanding of build tolerance analysis
  • Experience with robotics, pneumatics, servo motors, and control systems
  • Knowledge of optics principles and CCD cameras
  • Communication skills in a worldwide environment
