Description For Data Analyst - Health Software

This is a great opportunity to empower people to improve their health. Apple is looking for an exceptional Data Analyst / Data Scientist with a passion for health to join the Health Software team! In this role, you will collaborate closely with experts across various domains, including software engineers, clinicians, marketing partners, human factors engineers and design teams, to understand how our products are used in the real world and to support our health-related efforts at Apple. You will influence decision making and help improve health products by synthesizing complex data and delivering insights to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product usage and support health-related efforts
  • Synthesize complex data and deliver insights to stakeholders at all levels
  • Influence decision making and help improve health products
  • Break down complex problems and provide data-driven solutions
  • Create data visualizations to communicate insights effectively

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in business intelligence, data analysis, data science, statistics or related field with a strong emphasis on health-related data
  • BS in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics or related experience
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau, Splunk, or other tools
  • Ability to write and understand moderately complex SQL
  • Prior experience defining metrics and designing reports for key partners
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with computer science fundamentals and statistics
