Hardware Engineering Internships

The role involves supporting electrical & system design and integration of flagship Apple products including Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad, Watch and Mac computers. You'll assist in engineering processes for design, integration, implementation, testing, and qualification of various electrical sub-systems.

Key areas of focus include:

• Camera/Touch/Display Engineering: Working on optics, flat panel hardware, touch mechanical design, and experiments validating new materials
• Wireless Technologies: Antenna design, RF system validation, automated software development
• ASIC/VLSI: RTL design, verification, validation, power analysis, and circuit design
• System Development: Electrical system design/integration, testing, schematic capture
• Acoustics/Audio: Hardware design for speakers/microphones, mechanical design, audio features
• Embedded Systems: Low-level microcontroller development, FPGA prototyping
• Firmware Development: Writing/debugging low-level firmware, drivers and protocols

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python and experience with digital/analog circuits, embedded systems, and hardware design tools are preferred. This is a full-time internship position requiring 40 hours per week.
