Health Sensing HW - Electrical Engineer

The Health Sensing team at Apple designs, develops, and launches next-generation Sensor Technologies for Apple products. As a Health Sensing HW - Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting system and board level design for new products, spanning the entire lifecycle from initial design to validation (35% of the role).
2. Reviewing schematics, developing analysis tools, performing system-level tests, and resolving issues in existing products (25%).
3. Driving the development of component/module vendors and tester/evaluation plans to support Apple's mass production (25%).
4. Collaborating with various engineering teams and writing design and architecture documents (15%).

The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in analog and mixed-signal systems. You'll be working on cutting-edge health sensing technologies that have the potential to improve or even save lives.

Key qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience in electrical or system hardware engineering
• Strong background in analog, mixed signal, and failure analysis
• Proficiency in tools like SPICE, Matlab, Python, and LabView
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree (minimum)

Preferred skills include knowledge of system and firmware development, experience in optical module development, and experience working with overseas manufacturers.
